My parents brought me to the sport. Neither of them was the top athlete, both spent their leisure time in some kind of physical activity. In winter skis, cross-country skiing, in summer tennis, cycling, high-altitude hiking, volleyball, basketball, etc.
For me, as a child, it was clear that movement was part of life. I’ve never been forced into sports and I’ve always wanted to try something new. It also amused me a lot. I’ve been through several sporting and other activities, from swimming, through tennis, gymnastics, ballet, piano, all the way to volleyball that caught me enough to become my priority.
I graduated from the Sports Grammar School of Ludvík Daněk in Brno, did well in volleyball, left at the age of 17 for my first foreign engagement in France, and so spent the last two years
studying remotely.
I decided to make a living in volleyball and spent a total of 5 years in France. The first four years were even in Cannes. Those who are a little oriented in top volleyball know that it is a top European club. After five years I returned to the Czech Republic for a year, where the Czech Grand Club VK Prostějov was formed. From there I went to the German Bundesliga for three years and then back to Prostějov in 2012. The 2012/13 season was my last. After exactly ten seasons in top sport, I decided to end my career. I have 4 Championship Titles from the French League, 2 Titles from the Domestic Competition. I have completed several Top events with the National team such as European Championship and the World Cup.
In 2013, I threw myself into education and work in the fields of fitness, exercise and personal training.
I worked as a fitness coach for VK Prostějov, then VK KP Brno. My job was also to train beach volleyball. Currently, I’m engaged in individual personal training.
I have now begun to dedicate myself professionally to the activities of player agent in cooperation with my partner, Peter Pláteník. I want to help young players in their sporting careers. I know how important it is to have someone reliable and professionally fit at my side. This is a great opportunity for me to use my experience and contacts from the time of my playing activity.
